eurovox 2007 help please

Hi pat here


I have a eurovox 2007 black box i was just woundering if there is any way to speed up the box so that when u change the channel the screen don't stay blank for so long.If i was to download this new firmware/software would it work in galway city on N*L.Is men and motor available on eurovox 2007 because i keep this channel is no longer in service+this not the ownly that im getting this message on

 

There has been a few changes with channels on N*L and Men & Motors is just one of them not available in Ireland no more , UKTV Bright Ideas is also gone , Rangers TV is changed to LFCTV etc

When was the last time you done a scan for new freq etc

 

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY EUROVOX MAX.UP UNTIT A FEW DAYS AGO IT DISPLAYING THE TIME AHOUR AHEAD AND THAT TIME HAS CHANGED ITS AHOUR BEHIND+dISPLAY INCORRECT PROGRAM.I'M NEW TO ALL OF THIS SO PLEASE HELP.HAVE TRIED CHANGING TIME e.gGT+1 gGT+2

 

Please drop the caps as its not allowed in the forum

1. Set time using GMT.
2. Go to installation, user installation.
3. Press red button to preform an autoscan.
4. When autoscan completes, IMMEDIATELY go to time settings again.
5. Make sure time is still correct.
6. Turn GMT off.
7. Press blue button to save and exit.

 

Thank did that it worked but if u unplug it it reverts back.1 more thing is there any way to speed up the the rate that the channels change.im a newbe please help

 

If you unplug it , it will revert back again by default , best leave it on stand-by , and I dont think you can change the speed of the channel changing

 

Thanks.I just noticed that before the time change it was an hour ahead +now its anhour behind.Is this software default+can i download anything to change it.If was to buy a new e.g starview box would be faster +would it be able to record like s*y+ box.any info welcome

First post here. Hope someone might be able to help. I have scanned the forums but am still a bit lost.

My eurovox is usually fine (i have to re scan now and then) but a few days ago it started to come up 'Please wait code being updated' and just stay like that. When I delete and re scan it finds all of the channels, the free view ones play ok but the others I still get the message above.

I live in london if thats relevant.
