eurovox 2008 black dead no lights at all

    Hi ive got a eurovox 2008maxv box.It was working perfectly,iwent away for a weekened came back tried to switch it on and there were no lights on the box at all,ibought a new power supply and still no lights pleaseplease help>

    have a look at the c14 cap on the psu board and see if its blown or bulged [​IMG]

    no theres no bulging at all Karl.Do u think i need to jtag it

    can u jtag a eurovox v 2008 black.Ive got all the leads and disks to do it but it doesnt want to know still no lights

    ignore last post (how can you know whot is on it ) just try and flash it with 18/04/08 firmware it worked for me.

    have you opened it and had a look inside?(unplugged of course)

    I am not sure if anyone has posted this info before the cap in the picture should be replaced with a 1000uf 16v as it is under rated, and the problem will never come back
