hi all i am having major problems trying to download a channel listing, i am using the ufl software, the reciever has been updated using this and all is fine , until i want to download a channel listing, when i drop the channell list in and press download, i get the blue bar that goes across the screen, wich takes about 2 seconds then it says its sent, when i wire it up to the tv no fav are stored, help would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me mad ,thanks
You need to clear your channel data before updating with a new CDF. Press menu, config, clear data, clear channel, press OK. If it asks for a pin use 1004. Put EV in standby, then download CDF to the EV.
thanks, i dont seem to have the option clear channel all i have after using 1004 is, erase all channels, or factory default, mate
Erase all channels same thing BTW are you trying to download someelse's CDF or one you have sorted yourself, BTW you better tell Stevie I am helping you out

sorry to be a pain scOuser, but still the same mate, hardly got any finger nails left now after i have ran the loader it still says sent, when i plug into the tv same thing , channel 5 first no favorites, do you think it could be a dodgy box maybe ? is there any thing else i could try mate ? thanks
You did clear your channel data? Maybe it is the CDF, try this one http://www.4shared.com/file/3399308...08ADULTMadeByMoe.html?dirPwdVerified=60f4dc62 although a bit outdated 05/01/08 it may help. Other than that all I can say is clear channel data again and powerscan and then do manually, long and painful but at least you have your own CDF, which you can upload to your PC and edit for any future moves or changes.
