Had been working fine but I was away for a couple of days this week and turned on TV tonight to a lot of 'no signals', just a handful of channels working. So, referring to various posts, I did a 'delete all data', followed by a powerscan on 6887 between 290 and 410. I've ended up with only 10 channels - BBC1, SKY1&2, Performance, Plyboy etc. Where are my 125+ channels gone?? Shouldn't the powerscan have done the trick? Is a factory reset essential (I bought the box pre-flashed etc.) Is there somewhere I should specify the cable provider when scanning? I'm in Blackrock, Dublin on N*L.

Thats the correct normal powerscan settings for your area. I presume you have done it from the direct feed, taking away any splitters. If you are still having problems, use my CDF for N** Dublin in Eamos FTA Library at the bottom of my post, it has all channels sorted into favourite groups.

    Thanks scouser

Went to do that just now and ... I need a male/female converter for the cable - so that's put me back a few days. But I did another scan and am up to 30 channels ... but I ony see 4 TPs - not 13 - and the poerscan seems to finish really quickly. Sound like a signal problem?

Maybe. Have you plugged the coax directly from the incoming feed to the cable in RF socket on the back of the EV?

Yes - connections are correct. I tried one more powerscan before going to bed ... and got 119 channels. Let's hope they stay with me this time. It must be related variable signal strength. Also - there is a split before the box - to two other rooms. Should that have an impact even if other TVs are switched off? And is it possible that if other tvs are switched back on, that the box might do some auto-scan and overwrite saved channels, or something? Thanks for your help.

The split may be your problem, try a scan directly from the incoming feed.

I lost my RTE channels last week and did a new scan. Turned out they were moved to a different transponder. I did a full scan and 2 new transponders showed up 258 and 274. I never had the full 13 anyway, but this gave me 9 which I was happy with since it gave me the setanta sports channels too. Tonight though I lost the RTE stations again which had moved to 306, which isn't coming in on a scan now. I've tried a full scan again and still only get 8 transponders. So I'm stuck too at the moment.
You should try a scan starting at 250 to see if they have moved for you too

Just did another full scan from 250 to 410. The 306 is back so I have the RTE etc back. Do a clear data first then a full scan as above, otherwise you will have duplicate channels but won't be able to view the first set.
