Eurovox 2008 - Help Please

Hi Fellas ,

Just bought a Eurovox 2008 and tried installing today . Have cable running from wall to rf in outlet on back of receiver and scart cable connecting tv to receiver . All that appears on front of receiver box is light by standby and 4 blank lines ? Where haver I gone wrong , would welcome any advice .

It might need to be flashed with firmware , Can you press the Menu button on the remote and does anything show on your screen ?

 

Nothing . Only turns off at power switch in wall . Any ideas if machine is broke or anything else ?

Desperate for another pointers as to getting this Eurovox 2008 up and running ?

 

Can anyone help me - have a Eurovox 2008 bought the other day . Tried setting up - have cable line from wall going into rf in outlet on back of box . Have box connected to tv via a scart cable . When I hit the power switch nothing come up on tv and standby light comes up on front of box and nothing else . Please , can some one tell me where I am going wrong ? The box can only be switched off by hitting main power switch in wall as remote appears to have no effect when pointed at box.

 

Hi paul i suggest that you look through theads and find a senior member these guys have all the answers i think you need to get what they call firm ware which is a download from some site that they will tell you and then upload it to the box as i said you need to contact a senior member hope this helps

Can you press the standby button on the remote ? It does sound like it needs to be updated with firmw@re

 

hi celtic could you tell me if there is a box that works with a satellite dish as my friend lives out in the sticks and no cable available

 

The b0xes that I know about only work with cable sorry , i'm not sure about sat systems sorry

OK, you need to flash some firmware to the box before you can do anything with it.

If you read through the threads, you will find links to the software and guides of what to do.

 

Or just go to Eamos FTA Library at the end of my post they are all there in one place.

I heard Eurovox 2008 Max v software was updated last week . Would this update be there ?

Have software updated downloaded to box . Have tv and box turned on and the following message comes up :

Information : Channel not currently available

Any idea what need s to be done ?
