I have just purchased the EVox 2007 and installed it - works perfectly at my place. However when I tried to install it at my neighbours house the system searches some 700 channels but finds nothing. I have cleared all the data and reset it a couple of times and get the same result Can anyone suggest why that maybe and how to solve this.
Yes - I have set it up exactly as I have set it up in my house. The box runs for about 30 mins looking at 700 or so channels but finds nothing
If you had set it up at your house and you found all channels all you should have had to do was plug it in at your neighbours and it should have worked as you will be on the same provider, i.e exC**,N*L or telepest. No need to do a scan at your neighbours.
True - when I wrote 'neighbour'I didn't actually mean 1 or 2 doors away...in the next village about a mile away. I did plug it in first cos I thought it would just pick up the channels I had configured from my home - but alas that did not work. So I had to run the installation from afresh at his house. He has the same supplier as I do. But the box didn't pick anything up
I see he may not be on the same symbol rate. If you scanned on 6887 in your house then try scanning on 6952 in theirs or vicesa versa.
