i am having major issues with the new eurovox i bought as a replacement for my old starview, i still have the starview but i have promised it to my mate and when it is plugged in i get all channels , no pixalations or no, no signal messages everything works fine. however when i try to use the eurovox a lot of channels are barely watchable , although some do work ,whilst others just come up with the message no signal ? i have the latest firmware installed , help would be graetly appreciated thanks.
Could be a few things that could be causing this m8 but lets work on the basics first before we try anything else. Ensure all connections are tightly fitted. once you have done this you want to do a power scan, menu - installation- user installation - yellow button (power scan) - mode (normal) - start (100.00) - stop (870.00 - symbol rate (Telepest:6.952 or NT*:6.887 )- yellow button (power scan) KMAC.
thanks for the advice i have tried your suggestion but i still have the same problem mate, most of the movie channels i am having problems with, and itv 2 + others when i press the i button on my remote the signal and quality are fine, any ideas as to were to go from here thanks
was reading your thread and i seem to have the same problem got eurovox max 2008 box in jan and it worked perfectly up until last sunday when i go to info the signal is high 80's but the picture is unwatchable it flashes no signal constantly i've tried power scanning frequently but no luck any ideas would be appreciated.
