Eurovox 2008 turns off wont reflash

Hi ,

I have a box with what i suspect is a bad flash , it works for a while and then shuts down ,pull out the mains and its ok again , it wont appear to reflash either even though loader say it was successful , i assume this as all the data channels remain the same. Any advice on what to do , does it need to be jtagged. I See a link on ebay for a non solder jtag will that work?

 

If it is a 2008 model what did you flash to it, or did it come preloaded?

I flashed the latest firmware for the black box , as i said it works then stops , resets works again , stops , resets , and then just a blue screen .when i reflash it says its successful but i dont think its updated as if I'm correct it should overide any data so i shouldn't be left with channels ,tried voxer and dnpman , its not a clone as i checked the parts.hope you can help.if a remember when i first flashed it i had to turn the box off and on again but it doesn't ask this time. is there a way to clear the flash so its blank? thanks

Sorry but yes sounds like you need it jtagged if it will not turn on.

hi all,
had same problem with digivox bad flash box on/off, reflashed a number of times ,finally got to 100% complete and box now working again.
ps make sure correct data to be put onto box always check.
