Eurovox 2008

Hi there all,
can anyone tell me if eurovox works on chorus in Blessington Co. Wicklow,only i tried to connect one yesterday and all i got was (no transponder) on the screen. i tried a power scan, but still nothing

 

Have you got True Cable or MMDS

Its true cable,i have a chorus box downstairs and one up in the bedroom at the moment.Want to put eurovox in the livingroom.

 

Are you sure it is Digital and not analogue in your area?

 

Hi again, sorry just been told its a mmds signal.
Does that mean i cant use the eurovox?

 

It wont work with Ch**** MMDS, (will with N** MMDS), sorry for the bad news. You can try a linux based box such as the dreambox as long as it is a T type tuner box it will work on Ch**** MMDS. I presume you have a working MMDS aerial?

But cost may be a factor, there is a new Starview Box called the Box -T coming out that will be cheaper, but we are still holding our breaths waiting on this.

Thanks for the info,The people from ch***us said it comes from a main aerial,thats all i know.
Shall therefore wait on the new star box's arrival.
