can anybody help over the past two weeks my picture has been fragmenting and i have been losing signal, this is happening all the time, i have two boxes and it is the same on both. if i put the company,s freebox in there are no problems so could you tell me why it happens on the eurovox and not on the virgin ntl box.i have friends and family that live two streets away and they have no problems and if i put my box in thier house i have no problems with it.hope you can help.thankyou..........
Hi, I had this problem before. It sounds like your signal is too strong and is causing your picture to break up. Could you firstly please tell me what is the level and quality you have?
Press 'Info' button twice to get Signal Strength. if it fluctuates then you have a dodgy connection if its above 92% the signal is too strong if its below 78% you may need to consider a signal amp Sc0user could recomend one he is very techie (meant as a compliment Sc0user)
It does sound like you will need an attenuator. I reccommend a 9db to 12db that will hopefully reduce the excessive signal which may be the cause to the picture breaking up. Only 99p http://www.beststuff.co.uk/coaxial_accessories.htm
