    Thanks for the reply

Its 120gb.I have not downloaded any firmware to it. I just got it yesterday. Its picking up about 120 channels at the minute. Do i need to flash it before the Hdd will work?

    Thanks

If its picking up channels its already flashed!!
Firstly the HDD needs to be RAW - not formatted to any file system. I have used Seagate Momentus 120Gb HDD's in all boxes I have shipped and nobody has reported any problems. Some makes of HDD have given problems both with installation and with box not coming out of standby. For some reason all the boxes seem to say "HDD full or not installed" when the "PVR" button is pressed. If you press "record" all is well!

it gives me that error message no matter what button i press.
The hdd was an optional extra when i bought the box, I think its a WD. Should i be looking at sending this back or any other ideas?

You could try re-flashing the unit with the latest firmware (there are links to Eamo's firmare library in several other threads in this forum). Then physically take out the HDD and re-insert it and try again!

Have the same problem on mine whenever I press the PVR button, but I've found that when you go through Menu>PVR Manager all is fine. Hasn't fixed the problem but it is a way around it.
