hi everyone, so i've been slowly driven mad by my box. I've spent the last few days looking around this site and gathering all the information i can to understand why it won't setup properly. I am a bit of a novice when it comes to dealing with all the tech stuff so bare with me! First off i got my box 3 days ago with a usb included. I followed the instructions but no avail. I downloaded the newest firmware and used a new usb stick (also ensuring the file name was changed to flash.tbn) still no joy I read the thread about flashing the box using the null madem cable and got one. In the tutorial it says that one you download the firmware open the ufl file. I couldn't find one in the firmware for the 7000 hd. So now this morning i have the channels but they're all really jumpy and some are still scrambled. But when i have the channel list on view on the screen then jumpy channels don't really jump in the mini screen in the top right corner.but when i go back to full screen they jump straight away....gurr Sorry about the really long post it's just alot of info to pass on! Any help would be really really appreciated.
hi mate, first rename the new file like this FLASH.tbn make sure your box is off and pull the power lead out. turn on your box, it should start extracting the new file. when finished, press menu and do a deep install. when it gathered the channels save them. any channels that are not there, manualy install the frequency then do a manual install that's it. have fun. any probs, come back and i am sure someone will help.

I'm having the same problems. Completed as per the instructions provided. Starting to wonder if if was the FLASH.TBN file I was using that was inneffective..... can't get it to load at all. Can anyone help?
