Hi I got a Eurovox about 2 weeks ago. Was originally only able to get about 50 channels on N%L mmds. Last night I decided to try and rectify this!! Have been reading other threads & did a manual scan on list of frequencies suggested by other users. After doing this I have more channels alright, but annoyingly enough, I'm after losing some of the original channels I had. Could this be down to the weather & should I rescan when it calms down? Am missing the Setanta Sports, MUTV (doesn't bother me as I support Arsenal!!) most of music channels, PPV channel & a couple of others from my original. When I manually scanned the Setanta frequencies,listed on other forums, my reception is now down at less than 20%. Could this be due to weather? Am I better off doing manual scans rather than completely rescanning, as I couldn't handle having to organise my channel lists again!! If it is due to weather is there any way of boosting my mmds signal?Sorry for all the questions, but would be delighted with any suggestions. Thanks
What sort of booster would you recommend?? Went into Maplins and a guy working there told me you can't boost mmds signal?? Saw booster in Arg%s for about 12 euro. Do you think that would work?
One thing looking at your first post you may not have enough frequencies, where are you located and I will see which ones you need. I have to go soon BTW.
