I have just bought a new Eurovox EX 5000 but as you can guess everything is scrambled!
I am aware I need to flash it with latest firmware 1.1 (correct me if im wrong).
However I have a imac and cant seem to make any sense of the threads telling you how to do it, i have all the cables but how do i get the firmware onto my imac and then on to the box

I dont think it works on a Mac. You will have to get to a PC with XP or Vista. Eurovox Guide is at the bottom of my post.

Every bit of info you to do with such sites are easily obtained by the search bar or google, eg http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/terms/torrent.cfm

Take a little time to research it and you should be fine, I don't think we're allowed to link to torrent sites on here so limited to what help I can give you.

If your still struggling use a friends PC and follow the guide.
