eurovox black 2008

    just got a eurovox 2008 black off a mate he couldnt do the first flash! i have the box powered up it shows a red light on standby and 4 horizontal green lines i downloaded the latest firmware for it all seems well until i hit download. tells me version 2.10 is detected which i read is right somewhere,but when i hit start it goes to system reset where it stays and nothing happens any help wud b great! im a starview man so jus gettin new to these boxes cheers in advance

    couldnt find it any where tryabit hence i asked the question i normally dont post i find the info i want b scrolling through the site! i managed to find the info i needed off another site jus now so im happy. it required me to unplug and replug in the power supply to the box during the flash worked a treat! couldnt find that tip anywhere afer hours on afterdawn

    it does not specify to unpludg the mains supply hence i was thinkin i had a frozen box as i couldnt turn it off via the remote

    1. Loading the software
    Connect a RS232 cable from the box to your PC.

    Run the Eurovox Loader application you just downloaded by double clicking on the FTA software downloaded.

    Hit the 'Download' button in the top half of the grey box and click START when prompted

    When 'reset receiver' message appears unplug the box from the mains so the lights go out and plug the mains lead back in. The box should now read DNLD on the display.

    Leave it to install the software until the program tells you that the download has been

    :) no bother tryabit twas doin me head in! handy once i got passed that lol..... that info should be a sticky supercelt
