Hello, New here so sorry if I have put this message in the wrong area. I have had problems trying to get my box working. the box blue original 2006 looks totally dead, I have tried reflashing but voxer or dbupman!! won't see the eurovox. I haven't jtagged but I changed parts from another bluebox trying to eliminate the problem. when I changed the mainboard on the box, all was working fine....so It seems its the mainboard? Could this be brought back to life with jtagging or do you think I need a new mainboard. If I need a new mainboard is there anyone on here that as a spare they are willing to sell?
    Many thanks in advance Tony.

Sorry you have just said you have installed a new motherboard and all was working fine. Do you need info to jtag this new board? Sorry but it is a bit confusing.

Sorry Sc0user m8. No I was using parts from a working box to eliminate what the problem was. when I put another mainboard in the (broken box)the box worked, but I had to remove this mainboard again for the original working box. But now I'm not sure if Jtagging would repair it with now knowing the fault is on the mainboard, I have tried reflashing from PC and another box without any luck. also pressed red reset button inside box again without any luck. But never jtagged a eurovox before...looks easy enough, but does these symptom's sound like it needs jtagging?

Now I see sorry I was just asking the question as you seemed to have repaired it. As you have discovered it is the motherboard no a jtag wont repair a hardware fault of this nature. Best thing to do is to do as you have before and replace the motherboard. Not sure where you can purchase these, but you could try fleabay, for a cheap dead box. The only problem is there are a lot dead clones floating around and the motherboards on these will not be of the same quality build as a genuine one. Also by doing this you will actually be literally turning your genuine box into a clone if you get a cloned motherboard and you can only use at the latest the Feb 2007 firmware as any later firmwares will kill the bootloader on the box.
