Hi, i am new to this but i really need help, i want to get a eurovox, i have borrowed one from a friend that i know works but when i plug it into my cable from the wall all it says is no signal. The cable is telewest, i have only just moved into this house so can the cable company turn off the signal that comes into your house or is it always live?
i hope someone out there can help me. Thanks in advance!

Sorry now I see what you mean apologies. The OP meant they had no signal in regards to their feed been disconnected. Most times on a VM connection it is probably just disconnected at the external omni box, which is easily fixed. If it is disconnected at the cab it can also be fixed but I dont recommend messing around in the cab as it is CC owned.

hi mate, how are you connecting to the internet at your home address? if its via a cable company, then you are already connected and you do not need a a basic tv package, maybe you should look at the little box just outsisde your house, sometimes they are dissconnected by the previous owner ( mine was )
