    Hi,

I have managed to sort all my channels in the same order as sky tv display them, took me a good four to five hours and I had to write the channels on a piece of paper and then keep flicking between cable and sky box to view the tv guide on sky.

How do I upload the channel.cdf file onto this forum? I can't see the attachment button. Am located in the midlands, I don't know if everybody in uk can upload this file.

Another warning if you got AUTOSORT eurovox ex5000 firmware then the channels will be ok until some of the channels change frequency, you would have to run the update channels option in user install menu but I find the autosort firmware doesn't put them back to manual sort and puts them in its own format and not the same format I copied (Sky Format) which is annoying.

The way I sorted this problem out was I reset to factory default> installed the eurovox ex5000 firmware without the AUTOSORT, uploaded the channel.cdf and then have the same format as sky. I believe the firmware come out on the 1st of December 2008

The reason I have taken time to manually sort the channels out my self was becasue I don't like the way eurovox sorts the channels. There is only four ways to sort them via eurovox which are:-

    Name
    Type
    Frequency
    Manual

Upload it here >> http://www.rapidshare.com/ once uploaded it will give you a share link, post that on here. Very nice of you to share.

It will only work for people in the same area as you on the same provider i.e n*l/telewset etc.

    HiTech,

Am sure there's lots of other people that have manually configured their channels but when the next new firmware is out will there be two releases i.e autosort and without autosort?

The reason I ask this question becasue when I updated the channels, I didn't have an option to turn autosort on or off which casued me to loose my manually configured channels hence why I downloaded the firmware without the autosort as stated above.
