i have a eurovox ex 5100 pvr. flashed the box with latest firmware and all is working fine and recieving all channels but the problem i have is when i switch off my box into standby mode overnight, i lose everything come the morning. when i try to switch it on i get 4 digits with a blank screen and it will go back to standby mode after a fews seconds or so. If i swith off the power completely to my box, then on again i get everything back to normal. Has anyone else had this problem and do they know a fix.
Hi I also have the same problem, I noticed that the standby problem occurred when I attached a hdd (western digital 120gb) The box simply loops from on to off I have to turn the power off and on to resolve the issue. A solution would be appreciated. Ta
It's a common fault with the eurovox PVR and there is no solution for it expect instead of putting it into to standby all night, turn it off via the switch at the back then back on in the morning and all will be fine.
