newbie alert. i have read the excellent eurovox flashing guide in previous posts and have conquered the task (i think). iam new to all this type of thing but looks ok to me after following the guide. when i search for channels i have two green bars in the top right dancing about named level and quality. on the top right i have ch num (which is blank) Freq. (which alters all the time) Progress (0/770 going up all the time). i have tried all three frequencies and get nothing, i am in bolton area and have been to my brothers and tried at his house with exactly the same result. im stumped, anyone any ideas cheers
can anyone shed some light on this one, cant seem to get anything whatever i do, also forgot to mention on the scanning screen it has TP:000 in the middle of the screen
If you are in Bolton then your symbol rate is definately 6.887 and you only need to scan on that, if you are sure that the box has been flashed (To check go to Menu across to Config and choose System Information and see what it say's) - If flashed then do a Factory Default, Menu across to Config and choose Clear Data OK and do a Factory default on Symbol Rate 6.887 and then OK for a Full Powerscan, but be sure that you do have a live cable feed in the RF in socket at the rear.
malci, cheers for the help i have done all the things you have mentioned but still it hasnt worked, i know i have a live cable feed as i have tried a dbox which i have and its working. my system info model: DVB-XC BoxS TDA S/W ver: 1.0 ST4 Aug 22 2008 H/W Ver: 2.0ts Bootstrap: v001 S/W Build: Kuro im losin the will here
I haven't got one to hand but I think that the firmware could be the problem you are having try reflashing with this >>>>>>>>>>>>> UFL_EX1000SL_v1-0_DarX.rar From Eamo's Library 4th of August seems a little early, but may be wrong, but that seems to be your problem. Edit - Sorry I just noticed that is is 22nd August but still try a reflash anyway.
malci dont know why but it suddenly burst in to life around 330/770 but hey its working so i will keep you informed
Well done, gremlins at work LOL, anyway let me know how you get on and good luck, you shouldn't have any problems now though Cheers
will certainly keep you informed, got a few channels missing but suppose i will work it out in the end. Many thanks
Great - pleased for you, you can run for awhile then update channels and you will probably pull them in then, Away for the night now good luck.
Hi, I'm in Laois in Ireland and I'm having this EXACT same problem. My service provider is Chorus. Can you tell me what I might be doing wrong? What version of software should I currently have in the System Information section?
