What firmware version does it say in system info? Presume you are scanning on 6887 and connected from power insertor to cable in on the back of the EV?

system info:s/w 22/08/2008:h/w 2.0ts,kuro.i was led to believe 6875 was what i was to scan on?anyway pretty sure i scanned on all 3 6887 and 6952 although i didnt do a factory default.i presume thats the black box that the cable comes into your reffering to..that is plugged into rf in..thanks for your help.

N** is 6887. Do a factory reset and try a fresh scan. Can you even see FTA, e.g RTE?

i've got a euro ex 1000 sl guys

just put the darx software on it. Scaned it in, all FTA work fine but the rest of the channels come up scrambled.

I've a max v here that works fine, all the same settings ie symbol rate and freq range..

    really has me lost

Press menu, press OK, type 1968 on remote and check emulation is on.

thats what I originally thought that the emu was turned off so I rang around. Been told from the supplier that there is no emu menu on these? cant believe that myself but I'm slowly losin the rag here! haha

Of course there is an emu how does it emulate LOL? Best bet is to factory reset and reflash. Turn the box off and then back on between factory reset and reflash.

After that send it back to your supplier with the FTA firmware put back on and let them sort it out. Sorry but I cannot stand suppliers that fob their customers off.

tbh I never had any problems so never needed to contact my supplier for support but now that I have I know he really is a useless twat!

thats exactly what I thought about the emu... I'm fairly competent when it comes to this stuff as I work in IT

The only strange thing I noticed is that when download completes on the loader is only loads half way when writing but it does say download complete... I just tried what you suggested but their still the same :(

Do you by any chance know what frequency Chorus is? I have tried them all but can't seem to get anything. I have one of these boxes in another house that is N*l and 6887 works however all the channels are scrambelled. What do I do to fix this? Do I have to update with new software or is there a code i have to put in or something.

6875 is the symbol rate. Take a look at HiTeck's guide in his post above your post.
