    Hi,

Some channels that worked last week are now saying 'Please wait, code being updated'. I know it normally takes about 5 mins to update, but a few channels keep saying this even after i left it on for about 2 hours.

Can these be retreived? I dont want to rescan as I may lose these channels altogether.

    Thanks in advance.

Then do a Manual scan on the affected channels, Menu and across to Installation, choose User Installation OK enter pin OK and highlight the Frequency you want to scan and press OK, tick will appear at the left, press BLUE button to Manually Scan on that Frquency.

The majority of the other channels work, just bx ofice. i tried the manual scan and the channel name comes up as something like tvch9 and still shows 'please wait...'

    anyone help with the above?

some other channels had 'scrambled channel', they are now fixed.

That's fine, the box office won't show anything until there is a PPV event due, then you will get it okay, just remember the Frequency that it is on and then if you need to just do another Manual when it is broadcasting.

Yes you are correct, (I was receiving them - but not at the minute) and when an event is due they will do so again, they usually do that approx 1 week before an event okay, take my word for it you will get it back when needed, just keep a note of the Frequency for future reference as said.

You will find PPV films do show under a nondescipt TV numbered channel, but it is an hit and miss affair and not really worth the bother, what happens is - someone in your area orders and pay's for a film, and if you happen to be scanning that channel then you would be able to pick it up, as said not worth the bother - so the real answer is no, that one is the only one you are sure to get as the box's are not interactive in that way.

So best to scan it when a box office event is on like a boxin match?

When you see/hear an event being advertised, then just check the usual channel and it will probably be showing a loop film or advertising the event, if it is not then do a manual scan, a few days before the event.
