My friend whom bought this box 1 month ago, has rung me to say he has lost his channels and it just comes up 'No Signal' I have told him to check the cables to see if 'the wife' had moved any while cleaning, but he informed she has checked them all and all are ok. Another friend last week, rung me regards the same box, and had told me the PC was also not working. I have just rung her and she told me box was still not working. I have n#l broadband myself and my max v is working ok, could it be that both my friends who have the ex1000sl and have had a unofficial line put in would/could this be the reason that n#l are cutting lines?
nothing to do with your friends line regards the eurovox,they have changed to nagravision 2 now and there is no fix out for them boxes and i dont think they will be fixing them boxes anymore at the moment there is only 2 boxes working in dub of n*l at the moment and they are the box super usb and the kryptview. sory i cant help with the broadband situation all i can say is ring up about the broadband if it is not dogy and tell them you have no signal or check outside and see if your cable is cut, but you can check if you have the normal 17 chanells on your tv if you dont have them either cable is down in your area or your wire is cut if your cable&broadband waz not put in by n*l DONT RING THEM
Thanks for that, what i can do is take my max v box up to see if it works on his line? Another friend/neighbour has the same ex1000sl box and his is working as far as i know......normally he will ring if it is not! So if his is working ok, then why his and not the other friends box?

Right just been down to his house, put tv on etc and message on screen was 'NO SYNC SIGNAL' So i tried using the remote.....nothing, so pulled all the plugs out and put them back in...HEY PRESTO ALL UP AND RUNNING all channels back!!!! Tried to ring other friend who's box was not working now for near two weeks, but no one in so will try again tomorrow, it may be the same problem with there ex1000sl...hopefully, thanks to all again for info
