eurovox ex1000sl software installations

    Hi please help when i connect the euorvox to my PC to do the down load in the boot mode it tells me receiver was not detected what do i do wrong

    Are you using a null modem cable in conjunction with a usb to serial adapter?are you running on vista?

    using sweex cd003 USB to Serial cable. running on vista yes

    this whole forum is full of people having trouble downloading firmware with vista,if you have an option to use an old pc with a serial port on it then i would suggest trying that
