hi everyone i am a newvbie and i know this subject would have been covered but i cant find the answer.
I have the above eurovox and uploaded the firmware fine with xp, the box has now scrambled and i apparently need the latest fix/firmware.
I have windows vista and no pci card.
When i try to download the fix, it just says "waiting for receiver"
and nothing happens, i have set the port correctly (tried 1,2,3 and 4) i have also tried switchingthe box off and anything else you can think of, im very frustrated.

I would greatly appreciate any advice on getting the latest firmware downloaded using windows vista on to my box.

    thanks in advance

missed your second post your best bet is to find a pc with xp and a serial port because with most folks if it dosn't work first time forget about it,this forum is full of posts about flashing problems with vista.
