Hi, I have got myself a ex1000sl. i have flashed it, reset to factory settings, downloaded my .cdf files, scanned for new channels. you name it ive done it. i still cant get passed "channel scrambled" error. i got the basic channels, 1,2,3 etc but as for the other gold, sports etc, nothing! I have got a null modem cable connected to a usb connector to my laptop which is running windows 7. i have got the latest drivers, i have changed the COM ports to see if that would help but it didnt. my box details are Model - DVB-XC BoxS TDA S/W Ver - 1.0 ST4 Aug 21 2008 H/W Ver - 2.0tS Bootstrap - v001 S/W Build - Kuro I am in crawley, west sussex, UK. i have virgin media. i also bought the box from eurovox.org so dont think its a copy. any help would be appreciated. thanks
You still have the free to air firmware on that box, system info should read 22nd of august for the ex1000 sl.
