Hi all, I have just set up my ex5000 PVR and all working correctly except for the hard drive. When I click on 'record' the screen pauses as if it is going to start recording, and 'REC' is dsplayed on the actual box - happy days. However, the recording suddenly cuts out for no reason. When I click on 'PVR' to check the recording it indicates that it did try to record, but cut out after 4 seconds. Every time I try this its always the same 4 seconds. Having trawled through other forums I've noticed other users experiancing the same 4-second cut out as I am, so this surely cannot just be a coincidence. Can someone please help me. I havem a 120gb WD Scorpio hard drive if thats' a help.
i have the seagate that came with the my box and its fine make sure drive is pushed right in i had to have a few goes
