    Hi,

Hope you can help. I have been using a eurovox ex5000 pvr without problem for the last few weeks. Then last night (28/12) at about 5pm the channels all cut out and I got a message "No or Bad signal"
The message was the same on all channels.

I tried to doing a factory reset and searching for all channels but none are found.

I have since reapplied the latest firmware but the same problem persists.

I have a starview box also and this is working normally.

I am in Dublin on N*L

If anyone has any further ideas please let me know...

    Thanks,
    A

Try 6875 as your Symbol Rate

    Hi,
I've just tried that but I'm still not getting any channels.
Really strange because they were working yesterday and even if I load a cdf file the channels say bad or missing signal.
Also the fact that the starview is working would seemto imply that the signal itself is fine.

Thanks for all your help by the way....

So, would this sound like a possible problem with the box that will need to be sent back to the supplier?

    Well....Still no joy with this.

I'm getting absolutly zero support from the place that sold me this.
I'm starting to think it may be a clone...
Does anyone know how I can check this for sure?
I can't get in contact with anyone from the company so if this continues I am thinking of opening a paypal dispute....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated....

Where did you buy it from? have you tried removing any splitters from your feed then factory default and DEEP scan.

    hi,

    I bought from bubblecableboxes.com

There are no splitters on my feed, I have tried the deep scan option but i still dont get any channels.

Do you know how to identify a clone ex5000?

Have you got the cable feed plugged into your RF in and not the ANT socket at the back of the box.

yes, I plug into the RF port.

I see the signal and quality at 75/80% while searching...

I search on symbol rate 6887 and from frequency 290 to 420....

Yes that is up to date, I would try re-flashing it again just to see if it makes any difference, remove the UFL you used previous from your PC and re-download it again via the Eurovox flashing guide linked at the bottom of my post.
