Hope I'll get some answer here as always. My ex5000 was responding all well until Saturday, now the box responds to remote very late. When i change channel on the remote, the channel gets changed after almost 30 seconds. And sometime channel doenot stop scrolling either up or down constantly. What could have gone wrong? I have checked to see if any button being stuck but all the buttons are fine. How can I remove this problem? Will reflash solve the problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Don't think it will be anything to do with a firmware re-flash, perhaps a simple Factory Default and Powerscan might help, but have you checked the obvious that the batteries might be on the way out, silly I know - but it has happened, and that there is nothing sticky the remote front, expecially if there is any kids around lol. I don't have one but did flash one at the weekend (for a friend - he has kids), and I found that the remote was slow to respond and - it turned out to be a bit of gunge, just an idea, good luck with it anyway.
