Just got hold of the new Eurovox EX5000 PVR.

Was trying to configure it by getting to the hidden menus. I have tried the access used on the older boxes and these do not work. Had a good look around the web but no success.

    menu > Language Settings 1968 1968

    also

    menu yellow button

    the above do not work.

Anyone out there know how you get into the hidden menu on this new box?

    Cheers.

    I have not flashed it.

    It is running 1.0 ST4 Jun 25 2008
    Kuro Software

I did not think that it needed flashing.

    Which is the appropriate software?

    Cheers

You will find it in Eamos at the bottom of my post. In the Eurovox Folder you will see the PVR folder it awaits you there. Sorry off to bed that will sort it for you ;)

The cable line is fine, It has scanned and discovered all the channels. It just does not decode the pay channels. The Starv**w box I have works fine.

Updated and works now, Thanks for that.

One more question if you don't mind. I had to enter codes to get it started. Does auto update work from there? Woudl I have to update the codes at all?

    Cheers
