    HELP !!

Just got my new EX5000 PVR I live in Waterford, South East Ireland and have digital cable from N-L. I have plugged in directly from the wall socket to my new box in RF In. I have a scart running from my box to my TV. I have previously flashed with the up to date firmware. I switched on and got the menu screen. I tried the power scan but ame not getting and channels. When I tried to update channels I am told no transponder signal. I had signal when attached to the N-L decoder. Is it the baud ect as i have run scans on each preset. When scanning, the level and quality range from 5% to 90% as is progresses. Any help or suggestions PLEASE !!!

does yor N*L box recieve all the channels fine?

If so try a factory reset then a power scan on your relivant symbol rate, then load yor 1.1a firware on it and try the scan again.

That doesn't mean he has the "preset" correct. you have to read between the lines on here, he may of added the "preset" wrong hence karls question.

Yes, there is a splitter box between the wall and the N*L box that also feeds my wireless broadband.

The feed is split with one to the N*L box and one to the N*L broadband

His problem is similar to mine karl, he may have a weak or too strong signal if he is scanning correctly.

BillyBaby, how far from your house is the main cable box (the big green one)
