I want to replace my existing Eurovox Max V with the pvr model which arrived yesterday. When I connect the new box I can only get as far as the red power light. I can't get the box to turn on using the remote or the power button on the front, or the on/off switch at the back. All connectioins seem fine, changed to known new batteries on the remote. Help!!

You need to flash the receiver with the latest firmware.

Connect the receiver with the power off, run the firmware program, then power the receiver on.

    Thanks Scriber.

I flashed the receiver which seemed to go well - "download successful" etc. Still no joy, The power is on the unit but I can't get the pvr to switch on. The red power light doesn't turn to green.

    Any ideas?

Took you a while to flash it :) Presume you flashed with 1.1A? Have you tried a factory reset and reflash?

If so and you still have the same problem, send it back for a replacement.

Yes to 1.1A - I saw another thread you repled to and so took the instruction from your signature box!

Yes to taking a while. Went on hols and Ryder Cup was over when I reurned so the pressure was off!

I don't have the box in front of me at moment. There is an on/off switch at the back of the box. Switching that didn't seem to make a difference.
