Guys, I have 4 clone Eurovox EX5000PVR receivers which I bought thinking they were real, I know I cannot upload the latest software but do you think we will have a clone compatible update soon, I am sure there must be 100's of people like me who bought Eurovox receivers thinking they were the real thing and only finding out when it was too late that we had clones. I also think it is pretty mean of the developer to target the consumer in such a way, surely there must be another way to harm the manufacturers of the clones and not the consumer who has already been conned once?
sorry cant help with your clone firmware but you should name where you got your box from so others wont buy from them
jtags4all are on ebay, so if any of you kill your eurovx ex5000 by uploading the 22072009 firmware buy their jtag kit, I did and with the suplied software and my daughters 10 year old laptop I revived my cloned eurovox ex5000pvr to life again, now my only problem is to find Clone Compatible Firmware, if any one can point me in the right direction I will be very grateful
hi satguy,, would it be possible to guide me through the jtag on the 5000 as i find it a bit difficult to understand!! (small brain!!)
