I am currently setting up the Eurovx EX5100 for my cousin and i have run into a problem. The box has the latest firmware and has scanned and found lots of channels. All of the free to air channels can be seen but none of the paid channels. I myself have a Eurovox V Max and I was wondering if the EX5100 has a secret menu and EMU capture features which needs to be turned on?

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help :)

Hi, i have the same box, eurovox ex5100 pvr. i installed it today in Dublin and was able to get all the channels when i did a deep scan. i hve the same problem however, all the sports/movie channels just show up as 'Channels Scrambled'.
I did one for my friend in limerick at the weekend too, the same box and on a full scan EVERYTHING came up and EVERYthing works including the movies/sports channels. I think the main problem might be the fact that N*L are in dublin and it is Ch**us there maybe???

    Go to this site:

    eko.4shared.com

and download the software from the correct folder. If you don't know what you're doing just read around on this site and you will find out what to do.

Press menu, then select language settings, you will see a list of menu options for language. Don't select anything, but enter 1 9 6 8 from the remote and a new item will be added to the list called Emulator. It will appear at the bottom of the list. Select it and you will get an option to Enabled or Disable.

I had the same problem with the EX5100, all channels coming up, but 95% of them were scrambled channels.

I looked at most of the threads (and there are a lot) and eventually found the answer in another thread from kopkidda (Thanks). Hopefully people with the same problem will find the answer here a lot quicker here than I did.

Worked for me in West of Ire. on N*T and MM*S.
