Eurovox firmware fix.

i downloaded the fix 2day from my toolbar and i Noticed that there is a message on there saying remove old v1.0 firmware first! Can some 1 tell me how I do that or can I just flash it with the new firmware? I don’t want to risk bricking my box.I Have it working at the mo from putting the codes in manually. i have the eurovox ex5000 and its a pain as vm are changing the codes everday some times a few times a day so would like to get it to update auto again. can anyone help please????????????????
