Eurovox Firmware Question.

    I have a Eurovox

    Model DVB-XC BOX
    s/w 1.0 SSN4 Nov25 2005
    h/w 2.0 Nov 25 2005
    Bootstrap v002.

    My question is Can i use the firmware for the blue/red or maxV, or will there be an update for my box. I think its a version 2.

    i have downloaded the firmwares for the blue/red and maxV, but have not tried them in case it kills my box.

    Or will i have to continue putting the codes in manually

    Look at top right hand side of the box you will see the siler tuner count how many grill slots it takes up and post back.

    Top right hand side looking from the top. i count 12 slots.

    I have the same box with updated S/W for better EPG, i would alos like to know what firmware ????

    hi ppl i have a eurovox 2 aswell i have managed to update it with blue box fix the only prob is you need a max remote but works a treat good luck everyone.

    I have tried flashing mine with the blue, red and Kuro and when i run the program it just says "The firmware is not for your receiver". so it looks like im stuck with manually inputting keys.

    flash your box with eurovox max blue software first then flash with the fix.

    So if i flash with an early version of the blue box on a eurovox 2 then flash with the fix, it will work but the remote will not ?

    Can we not reprogram the old remote?

    no u can get a new remote from ebay for a tenner but its worth it just to stop putting the codes in daily

    Ok i have flashed mine using the blue firmware dated 01/06/07 that worked fine. but when i run the blue fix i still get "firmware is not fit for your receiver".

    revert back 2 eurovox 2 software and try red firmware

    Hi people, updated with the new codes on the 14/4 and all was well, now all channels gone again! can anyone update me with new codes or suggest an alternative, cheers Rob.
