eurovox firmware update

can anyone be truthful does the eurovox firmware update work or was my bro telling me the truth ?

 

I updated the firmware and it's worked fine. The code have been updated about 4 times but the box just rolls with it. I have a 2008 box.

 

just wondering were your living because we live in limerick and i updated my firmware and it didnt work

 

are you on chorus or nthell? Where do u live?

Hi updated the firmware on my eurovox max box yesterday and worked but came into day and showing code being updated so back to maually inputting codes !! any ideas ps Glasgow n*l

people in glasgow that i know had this issue just simply unplugged the box and powered on again and it autoupdated fine.

I myself didnt have this issue,

i flashed the box, then factory reset, then made sure the emu was swithced on.

Had no problems.

 

Hi y'all, sorry I'm in England. I can see plenty of people having trouble in Ireland with this but here it works fine. Fingers crossed for a solution to your problem.

dead easy to update eurovox just download bigmaq toolbar plug eurovox into computer if you have the nine pin lead that is and you can download all latest updates + fixes in minutes

 

no need to use that toolbar all the info you need is in eamos library undr my pic and any addicts or senior members post keep away from that toolbar

a mate of mine lives round courner from me. same box ect all the same channels but he is picking up the new warnner bros film channel y i have tryed everything can anyone help cheers

 

I am in Dublin and this works fine in Ireland, for both NT* and Cho***, once you do it correctly that is!

I recently bought a Null modem cable and a usb to null modem seperatly to connect up to my laptop. I am trying to download the firware to my Eurovox 2008. I ahve the Kuro software on my laptop and have tried downloading the software which keeps trying to use COM port three on my laptop. I heard that it needs to be done through COM port two but I can not change it on my laptop. When I plug in the USB port end of the cable my laptop fails to install it and the Kuro once started downloading does nothing ! Can anyone help it is a bit frustrating after buying all the bits ?

hi mate try updating my firmware on my £500 quid laptop tryed for dats no luck then i tryed on my lads £50 QUID PC WORKED FIRST TIME HPOE THIS HELPS
