eurovox firmware

    hi i've flashed a few starview boxs no prob but i'm having prob flashing the old eurovox max it has a bit of grey on the front of it can anyone tell me what firmware i need please i,ve tryed a few from eamos library but it keeps saying not fit for this receiver do i need to download something to open the firmware with cheers!!!!!!!!

    May be an EV2 and not a max. What does it say in system info and what firmwares have you tried?

    eurovox max v 02 02 07 its a bin file prob is i dont have a remote control for box is there any way i could find systen info without it

    You need a remote. The bin file can be opened with dnupman found in Eamos FTA Library in the Eurovox software folder. But as said you need the remote.

    No problem, but you do know that the bin file you used was an old one for the Max V and as such does not autoroll. You need to use the 18/04/08 firmware for the Max V for AU.

    The older file you used was for a Max V so see no reason not to use the 18/04/08 version. This is version is a UFL (Unified Firmware Loader), so no need for dnupman.

    i've a eurovox max older version is that firmware not just for eurovox max v its just saying not fit for your receiver

    First look down through the grills on the top of the box, do you see any red blobs on the pcb board screws?
