eurovox max 2006 problem

hi all can someone please assist me. i am notable to get the dam thing to work. i downloaded the software went through power scan but still not picking anything up. i then put the codes in manually still not working have i missed something out please do assist

First of all press Menu, Config, pull down to System info press ok, what does it say in there.

Who is your provider previous to VM and where abouts are you ?

MAKE SURE YOUR FEED IS IN THE RF SOCKET AND NOT THE ANT BEFORE STARTING

Do a Factory Default by pressing ,(Menu) pull right to (Config) pull down then (OK) on (Clear Data) enter 0000 for your pin then highlight (factory default) and press-(OK) then (OK) on your symbol rate. which is 6887. wait for it to finish the reboot your box.

Now that you have completed the Factory default you can scan for your channels, go back to the (Menu) screen then (installation) and (OK) on (User Installation) again enter 0000 as your pin, Now press the yellow button for (Power Scan)

Box will then load,

Make sure your box is set up as below.

Start at 100.00
stop at 850.00
Sym rate 6887
Sym rate 0000
Sym rate 0000
Step 8

Now press ok to scan.

i did as you said but i am still getting

CHANNEL NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

 

Has it ever worked at your address? have you been cut off?

 

yes it was working a few days ago i noticed some channels were not working so i thought maybe its time to update, also no i have never been cut off

 

Have you got any channels at all tuned in or didn't it find any TPs when you power scanned.

 

it did tune channels but did not find any TPs

 

How many channels have you got, doany of them work also what does it say on the screen on the non working channels.

 

42/570 channels but non of them work it comes up channels not currently available.

i have tried with autoscan and that comes up with no transponder to scan

 

42/570 <<<<< what does that mean, you have 42 channels out of 570????? or you have between 42 and 570 channels.

when it is scanning this is what comes up

So doesn't it go any further than 42 then when scanning?

 

i just did the scan again and it was 18/750 so it differs every time i do it

 

What does it say on the box display when scanning just before it stops, also do you get any messages on your TV screen.

 

on the unit it says PEAA
during scanning it just stops goes to tv and then comes on and shows the message CHANNELL NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

 

Would have saved allot of time if you had told me that before,

Have you checked to see if you have a clone box,

PLEASE check through this carfully and report back, make sure you look on the board screws for any red paint.
