My eurovox max v was working fine until recently I plugged it in and heard a pop and now it's completely dead no power at all. I checked the plug which is fine and the power lead is working ok. Any ideas or has anyone had similar problems?
Had it about 2 months, think it came in a red and black box, I think not sure. Got it from a crowd called Starview and it worked fine and then just sounded like something inside it shorted when I plugged it in. Not sure whether it's worth sending it back as I'm from Ireland and it was sent across from The UK.
Sounds like a clone or a faulty box. Look at the grills on the top of the box if you see a ribbon cable it is genuine if you see a load of individual white cables it is a clone. Either way you should get a replacement from them as the box should be still under warranty.
