Eurovox Max 2008 - Annacotty Limerick

    Hi I just moved down to Limerick. I have the eurovox max 2008. It worked fine for me in Oranmore in Galway which was MMDS. Just moved down to Annacotty in Limerick. Just wondering will the box work for me down here if anyone knows? I tried doing a power scan but didn't get any channels. I don't see any aerial on the roof and we don't have any existing channels in the house. Do I need to get a basic digital connection from Ch*rus first? Also what is the symbol rate I should be using? I triend 6.887 & 6.952.

    no ariel on roof+no subscription=no channels im afraid
    also galway as far as i know is ntl mmds, if the area in limerick is chorus mmds the max v will not work.

    Thanks for the reply. Have ordered ch*rus digital for Limerick. Which box should I get so?

    in responce to which box to get try the one you have on 6875 if that those not work get digivox. but i think eoruvox works in limerick. i do know we had the box-t but they discontinued selling them and advertise digivox-t for this area.

    left out sister has digivox -t works a treat and easy to set up.

    Does your sister live in the same area as you? If she does you are chor*s mmds, and will need a box t variant.

    ok I'll try the eurovox at 6.875 this weekend as I see a few people in Limerick on this forum have gotten it if not I'll get the digivox t. Cheers for the replies

    Just to let anyone know that's interested the Eurovox Max V works perfect in Limerick. I put the new software on the box and got all the channels.
