EUROVOX MAX 2008 broken AGAIN!!!

My first Eurovox went back to the shop as it had a fault an now the exchange one started playing up with the following faults.
A- from standby when switched on - If you press EPG button then box freezes altough chanel its on continues to work. The box seems to stop responding to the hand controllr and then with in 30seconds- 5 minutes will 'catch up' on every button you pressed
B- sometimes leaving the epg a notice will pop up saying ' PLease insert card' . This notice wont go away unless you switch the box off, or go back into the epg.

Finally onto the current problem. Ive lost ALL channels except for some BBC, ITV, and preview chanels( including virgin media member chanel types). All the others are blank and have a notice saying Please wait, code being updated.
I have tried:
switching the box off, unplugging it, update, power scan, and cleared data- but still the same problem.
Unless someone can help me , this box is going back and i will get a Starview!.

The way i feel about this box- a Starview with crap pg is better than a Eurovox !.

 

read up some more and sorted the chnel update thing, so all the other grumbs i have arnt so irritating now lol

SCOUSER GOT MY VOX UP AND RUNNIN AGAIN JUS WONDERIN IF IT WILL AUTO UPDATE LIKE NORMAL AGAIN AND IF NOT HOW DO I GET TO DOWNLOAD FIRMWARE UPDATE I KNOW THAT I NEED TO GET THE LEAD BUT CAN YOU HELP ON THE DOWNLOAD
