    A Chairde,

Interesting problem. I have done a "fast install" on a box on Sthside Dublin, got 13 Frequencies-140 Channels, brought box to Nrthside, and all channels were there, but most (90) frequency was weak (searching for, No Signal).

I performed "Fast Install" and only picked up 5 Frequencies - 43 Channels.

When I manually added frequencies, same as before frequency was weak (searching for, No Signal).

    Any ideas ??

Then its a cable issue. Did you scan from the direct feed, i.e. no splitters. Did you try it with the on board booster on? Or if that did not work an external booster?

    Thanks Scouser,

Will get it fed directly to EuroVox, they had the cables upgraded recently.

What would you recomend as a external booster ??

If required a cheap SLX booster from Argos or B&Q will do, as it also has variable gain control. If the signal is too strong though you may need an attenuator, you can get these online or at Maplins.

Although I would say its more than likely a weak signal, caused by a splitter or bad cabling/terminations.

    Thanks Scouser,

Will look into this, only funny thing is that the frequencies are not contigious.

They are intermittenly spread across, not grouped.
