eurovox max 2008 start up problems

hi everyone, new to all this. just got a new eurovox max 2008, downloaded software from ufl max v kuro 3 28-4-08t.connected my digital cable in rf in socket, no channels present. then i tried a power scan but still no channels appeared. no transponder found comes on screen. could anyone please tell me what this means and ways to fix problem. thanks

 

Where are you located and what provider are you using?

Did you try on symbol rate 6.887 and 6.952?

 

sorry for the delay in repying, sg8. im in kilkenny ireland with chorus/ ntl digital. ive tried several different symbolrate but no luck. could i be on mmds with no aerial.

You can double check, if you have a subbed box or know someone who does. Check the label underneath it, if it has ITD on it, then it is an MMDS feed.

 

checked the box it does have itd on label. that seems to be the problem. thanks for all your help.

 

would anyone be able to tell me what box is most suitable for this type of communal mmds feed in kilkenny ireland.

 

Box T, Eurovox TX, Dreambox 500T, and any other DVB T Type device.
