Dont think there is any hope, but here goes... A friends Max blue has seemed to have died, There is no picture, it powers up, light circles once then 4 dashes then stuck on channel 0017 you can switch it on and off but no other controls work, i flashed it with the newest firmware 2 weeks ago and it was great. I have tried flashing with older firmware but still stuck on channel 17. Any hope? or is it in to the bin with it
try this just download april clone fix and plug a video lead into your telly and also your box leave the scart out and it will come up on your telly with a code box please enter the code 1004 and the press menu and put your scart back in and you should be able to get your box back to life,reconfigure all the settings and it should be ok
thanks.. tried that, when i type 1004 on remote chanel display goes to 0000 but cant get a picture on tv with video lead or scart thanks for the advice tho
take video out put scart bak in and go bak 2 ur normal channel which u ad it on before do a power scan

I am not actually getting any display on tv with either scart or component video lead. The box was working great with new firmware, the picture just went when he changed channels. It responds to re flashing, and if i type in 1004 on remote, diplay shows 0000 and green lock button shows.
mmmmmm just had another friend with a eurovox max blue die in the same way. If there is anyone in the merseyside area that knows how to jtag (whatever that is )and can get these boxes working again i am sure we can work something out . Both boxes just display a channel number but no display at all on tv with coax, component or scart
