Hi, i have a Eurovox Max 2008 and im in Dublin. I had lost the movie and sports channels ages ago like most people, then lost a few music channels and was told to rescan in order to get the music channels back. However when i did this i lost most channels, with only a few remaining, such as RTE1 and Comedy +1. My question is how do I get back the general channels such as BBC, ITV etc. Iv read that it works when you change the frequency to 150.000 but i dont know how to do this successfully. I went to user installation, clicked CH Edit for 0001 and clicked 'modify' I then changed the freq to 150.000 MHz, and left the Symbol rate at 6.887 Mbaud. However nothing changed? Can someone please let me know what im doing wrong. Id really appriciate it cause i have a bad single on my normal cabable and would love to be able to get the great quality back. Thanks alot.
You have only added one TP manually which will get you the few channels you were missing that changed to 150.000. Better off doing a factory reset, then powerscan from 290.000 to 420.000 after that then manually add 150.000 to your TP list. The problem with starting your scan at 150.000 is due to the scan spacing and as you can see you are left with just one TP.
Cheers,before i saw your post I did a power scan after i changed it to 150.000 but none of the channels came back and they have all gone out of order. How do i do a factory reset? I cant see it anywhere? Thanks
Menu, config, factory settings. They will go out of order and dependent on your firmware it will either have autosort or not.
The only options on config i have are TV setting, Time, Clear Data and System Info. I clicked on Clear Data and have two options. To erase all channels or Factory Default, where i get 'symbolrate(6952) or Symbolrate(6887)?
I did as you suggested but i now only have 11 channels on it, none of which work. Do you know of any other way of getting them back? Cheers
