im having problems with a eurovox 2006 blue. it has no power at all. ive checked the c14 cap, which is fine, ive also tried replacing the whole power board from my 2007 red box but it still wont power up. from reading the forums i believe i need to jtag it. i have bought a jtag for the box from fleabay, i have the ribbon connected properly i believe. i have skymax and also jkeys, but keep getting errors on both. on skymax i keep getting Init JTAG IDCODE : FFFFFFFF Fail DCU, Plesae Restart or Reset CPU Box on jkeys i keep getting Error reading from IRD (DCU Peek). could anyone help please?
IDCODE : FFFFFFFF usually means the connection from the PC to your receiver is bad/not terminating, I have asked someone who knows allot more to have a look at this so sit back and wait for a reply BTW in the meantime can you provide a link to where you got the Jtag kit from please.
