Hi, im having a real time of it,was hoping someone could put me right? I have been trying to update the new firmware for the eurovox max. I've followed all the steps yet keep getting the same thing, either waiting for a response from your receiver, or this firmware is unfit for your receiver, have tried all the steps on the first page but it still wont update. Can alyone please please help?
I had the same problem, I tried doing it from another pc and hey presto it worked. I was advised to try it by the guy I bought the box from.
The message "This firmware is unfit for your receiver" means just that, you are trying to put incorrect firmware on to your box, for example you are trying to put firmware for the BLUE box on to a RED box or vice versa, so make sure what firmware you have and what box you are flashing, I think I have answered this for you elsewhere, if so then it is for anyone that may be getting the same message.
