eurovox max problem?

i have just flashed my eurovox max with the new firmware and now its not working its staying on 0001 on the display and its a blank screen on the tv its not letting me change the channels on the box or the remote i have flashed the box before with no problems does anyone have any ideas what this could be??

 

Have you done a factory default then a powerscan after flashing the box, 0001 is the time, if you watch it long enough it will change to 0002, LOL.

 

it won't let me do anything. only the standy button works when i press that it goes to the time 12.00

 

Which eurovox max is it? have you checked to see if it's a clone.

 

its the eurovox max blue i have flashed it before with no problems when they last went off. i have flashed about 5 of them and they are all fine its just this one. if it was a clone i don't think it would of worked last time i flashed it. its strange do you think it might of just packed in

 

Try connecting it to your TV via a RF coax cable, if you have just flashed it's not going to let your change channel because you haven't any channels to change to.

When you have connected the RF socket you will have to tune in your TV like you would if you had connected a video recorder.

 

no mate still nothing. i have put the channel data on it that i saved before i flashed it when i do that it lets me change the channels but as soon as i unplug it to take to the tv when i put it on again its not working its stuck on 0001 again its very weird??

 

Please look through this and make certain it is not a clone.

i have looked at it mate and it has the green components with 100 wrote on. the clone picture doesn't have them and the pull down bit at the front is all black i have heard that clones are not completly sprayed but it doesn't have the top yang sticker on like the pic of the genuine one does and mine has the qc stickers on like the clone picture has on them?

 

hi, my eurovox has been working perfectly for months, 2 days ago, @codes being updated' is what is on the screen, it has been flashed with the firmware, anyone know why this is???
im on nthell in dublin

 

same happened to mine when i flashed it - thought i had killed it.

wasn't sure about the flashing part did it last time in april so was going on memory.
reflashed it with info i got from here - saw if system reset comes up you unplug box press download and then just follow prompts, did all that and worked the next time.

 

Any red paint on the screws heads on the board?

Is it a red or blue eurovox check via picture, I know you said it was a blue but doesn't hurt to make sure.

i have measured it and mine is just over 9 so its a blue but my vents on the side are different they are at an angle like this

so if its a clone what do i do now can i just flash it with the clone firmware or is it broke will i have to get a new one??

 

That is the top of the box not the side! Counting from the back to the front of the box looking down on it (Birds eye view) how many does it cover.

Open the loader (top link) then add the bin and press download.

 

just done it mate and its still the same it has not worked

 

i have sorted it now i tried putting the rf lead in again and it came up enter pin so i entered 1004 and the menu came up so i done a factory reset and a scan a its sorted so thanks for all your help hiteck mate much appreciated
