Today I have flashed a max v and a pvr with the new firmware and they are both working perfect. My old red box will not take the firmware! Takes about 15 mins to get to the end and then just says fails! Anyone know a way around this? The box has been flashed at least 4 times before with no issues but now will not take any firmware.

Yes, I turn the box off press download then press start turn it back on and press ok. Just hangs nothing happens "waiting for the response of your reciever"

Does nothing. I have flashed every other type of box today with the same cable. I even screwed it in, it starts to send te stuff but takes about 30 mins and fails.

Only have one cable, downloaded firmware from 2 places and both do the same as they are the same.

I think that is highly unlikely but if anyone has a flash for a red box that they have used then upload it it to somewhere like mediafire or sendspace and put the link here and I will try that.

I ask again has anyone actually used the max red firmware and can tell me that it works?
